Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and talented Art Director (AD) responsible for the conception, design and visual execution of digital assets used in online advertising and digital marketing campaigns. The Art Director will focus primarily on answering communication briefs and must be passionate about passionate about creating highly intuitive, beautifully crafted ideas across web, mobile apps and social media platforms. You will support the Creative Director and work closely with a creative team of writers, designers, animators and developers.

Under the responsibility of Art director, your mission will be to:

  • Participate in studio discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings
  • Collaborate with brand and marketing agencies to align on digital objectives and ensure brand continuity across channels
  • Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation
  • Collaborate with Copywriters and Front-end Developers to help shape the requirement into  compelling communications and customer centric propositions
  • Conceptualise and execute concepts for digital advertising, awareness and engagement that brings simplicity and user friendliness to customer interactions
  • Create digital assets for web, mobile apps, social media platforms and emerging technologies
  • Oversee HTML implementations to ensure the integrity of the work
  • Present and defend design decisions in key milestone reviews with peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Adhere to schedules and budgets

  • Proven ability in developing gamification, engagement and content driven experiences that deliver business results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the openness to drive collaborative processes between stakeholders, creative team and management
  • Expertise in industry standard software such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
  • Experience working directly with developers to implement designs with good knowledge around CSS and HTML
  • Application of design and communication best practices and web production techniques
  • Abreast of industry trends and digital media specifications
  • Presentation skills to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • Passionate about developing compelling customer-centric experiences or communications through conceptual ideation, communication and design excellence
  • Relevant degree, short-courses and qualifications with three or more years of Art Direction experience with preference given to candidates showcasing a strong portfolio of design and communication projects
