Customer Support Advisor: What you’ll be doing

– Establishing the customers’ needs to diagnose and resolve problems Monster, Employment, Sabiss
– Resolving customer queries and offering tailored solutions in line operational and client policies and procedures
– Assisting customers with promotional and technology related queries Indeed, Jobs, Recruitment
– Meeting quality standards in order to contribute to the overall level customer satisfaction in line with agreed performance targets
– Taking ownership and responsibility of customer queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customers’ problems at the first point of contact within agreed service levels, targets and objectives

– Using questioning skills to make a judgment on the best solution or action to resolve the customer’s query Indeed, Jobs, Recruitment
– Making decisions within business parameters to fulfil customer requirements
– Checking to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customer problems Indeed, Jobs, Recruitment
– Taking accountability to close the customer query and ensure a resolution or feedbackCustomer-Support-Advisor
– Keeping records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
– Providing regular and consistent feedback on performance and supporting the development of others to minimise repeat queries
– Keeping up to date with procedural, operational and technological changes as well as attending training courses when required

What you’ll need:

– Matric
– Minimum 6 months’ experience in contact centre environment on international campaign (Essential)
– PC literacy with knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel Indeed, Jobs, Recruitment
– Experience in web chat or non-voice role (Preferred)
– Digital, web chat, email exposure (Advantageous)
– Strong IT, PC navigational, administration/organisational skills Indeed, Jobs, Recruitment
– Excellent English verbal and written skills
– Amazing listening, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills resulting in first contact resolution
– Results orientated with solution driven mentality
– Positive attitude, motivated mind-set and calm under pressure
