Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Is Not Limited To) :

  • Effectively manage customer services in the Information Office
  • Provide potential customers with the various locations where money can be sent
  • Provide information to potential customers on what Mukuru does and how transfers work
  • Supervise the Information Officers and agents effectively
  • Distribution of Mukuru cards to the Info Officers and agents
  • Recruit and train all new Consultants for the area when needed
  • Provide assistance to Sales Reps with regards to queries or training needed
  • Ensure all AML and EXCOM regulations are adhered to
  • Carry out the general management of the information office
  • Ensure that the branding of information centres is up to excellent standards
  • Ensure that the Info Centre is hygienic and that all Covid 19 protocols and health standards are maintained at all times
  • Makes sure that posters and snapper frames are correctly positioned and that posters are updated all the times
  • Provide weekly reports of the info centre activities and other documents which may be required from time to time
  • Obtain and monitor sales stats provided from Head Office
  • Check-in with the Area Sales Supervisor daily
  • Develop awareness of the Mukuru brand and services
  • Liaise with the Marketing Department to notify if more flyers/pamphlets are required
  • Sign up new clients and provide assistance to current clients
  • Manage and forward any card related queries by liaising with the relevant head office team
  • Manage own professional and self-development

Key Requirements :

  • Grade 12 / or equivalent (Essential)
  • Excom and AML training (Essential )
  • 2 years experience as an Information Officer (Essential)
  • Understanding and speaking of Hindu/Urdu/Bengali (Essential)
  • Knowledge of administrative principles
  • Knowledge of company structure and departments
  • Knowledge of project management tools (Asana)
  • Knowledge of Mukuru products and services
  • Knowledge of FICA and CPA regulations
