Job Description

 Responsibilities :

  • Manage the sales and targets in assigned provinces to ensure the customer base grows
  • Motivate team in order to work towards sales targets
  • Manage effective cost management within province
  • Quantify money value requests against activities
  • Compile quarterly budget report
  • Track own revenue against budgeted targets on a monthly basis
  • Manage and develop awareness of the Mukuru brand and services
  • Ensure sufficient stock of flyers and pamphlets are available for the province at all times
  • Establish ways to increase the awareness of the Mukuru brand and the services offered
  • Manage calendar promotions, as well as additionally, carry out additional promotions throughout the year
  • Always manage professional appearance of self and team, in compliance with Mukuru brand and CI
  • Increase amount of conversions per month as well as the total amount of money remitted by the province per month
  • Ensure that regional supervisors providers are kept up to date on the latest Mukuru offerings, AML ruling, exchange control procedures and rules and regulations
  • Propose innovative and creative ideas to sales supervisors
  • Identify ways to grow the base and submit weekly report
  • Conduct analysis from data on Power BI to identify trends
  • Create and submit weekly reports
  • Monitor all sales activities in the province and report on all relevant information
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis and provide monthly reports
  • Carry out and follow the instruction of the Sales Manager
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis and provide monthly reports
  • Resolve escalated HR and IR issues for all sales staff
  • Ensure staff disciplinary hearings and dismissals are done efficiently and effectively
  • Complete all required documentation and ensure contracts are in place for new staff
  • Provide guidance, empowerment and enable sales staff within the province.
  • Coach and mentor team
  • Maximizes revenue by selling all facets of the Mukuru product’s to previous, current and potential clients.
  • Regularly meets and exceeds assigned revenue goals.
  • Maintains and keep and communicate accurate sales records and reports.
  • Travels locally to conduct outside sales calls promote the Mukuru and review competition reader boards to develop leads
  • Prepares information for sales meetings, meets with and entertains clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from the account
  • Promptly follows up on all accounts needs and inquires
  • Has the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly, positive and professional manner
  • Has the ability to speak in a public setting
  • Coordinates various departments’ participation in servicing accounts
  • Acquires referrals from current clients
  • Represents the Mukuru at trade shows and business networking events
  • Conducts surveys and studies the market place and territories in order to capitalize on the Mukuru’s strengths
  • Develops customer profiles and maintains an effective trace system, in order to best meet client’s needs
  • Maintains open communication with all co-workers for the best guest experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 equivalent or equivalent (Essential)
  • Commercial Degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license/access to transport (Essential)
  • 5 year’s Regional Sales Supervisor experience in a relevant region / corridor (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Mukuru products and services
  • Knowledge of FICA and CPA regulations
  • Knowledge of sales practices in specific corridor
  • Traceable references
